Formerly an annual tradition, Amherst County Day welcomes the Amherst County community to campus to encourage Sweet Briar and local residents to get to know each other. Amherst County residents and the campus community will share fun and educational experiences from hayrides to craft booths, student project displays to musical performances, and more. We will also welcome global percussion artist Tom Teasley to campus for an artist's residency, including several interactive "Rhythmic Happy Hour" sessions during Amherst County Day.*
